Casting for Recovery, a national non-profit support and educational program for women who have or have had breast cancer, will be the beneficiary of the third annual “Kickoff Party” of the racing season in Saratoga Springs on Monday, July 21, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Saratoga Golf and Polo Club, Church Street, Saratoga Springs.
This is the third year that the “Kickoff Party”, held in honor of Casting for Recovery, has been held. This evening in support of this national non-profit program for women who have or have had breast cancer is a great opportunity to start the six week season in this wonderful town by renewing old Saratoga acquaintances, having fun and helping a great organization.
Music by Rocky Velvet, cocktails, fine wines, and hors d’oeuvres will be served, and the proceeds of the ticket price of $100 will be donated to Casting for Recovery for support of their retreat programs for women with breast cancer.
